Location lighting

First things first it never turns out how you initially imagined.  Having so many objects to move around, including a jet, three light stands,  an excavator, yourself (to create a clean background), and the most important of all, your subject, your outcome can be dramatically different.

Luckily I had a really awesome subject who was the utmost patient person ever.  He was even trying to help me move the lights around!  He gave me more confidence in a way that if I felt the photograph would benefit from moving something around I could do it and he wouldn’t mind at all.

The most difficult part was attempting to get the entire jet in the frame without loosing my subject or having unclean edges.  It was extremely windy this day so we had to shoot in the hanger.

"I've yet to turn down anybody that says lets get into the air."
